This company was very receptive to my call for help with my a/c unit and lined up help for me very quickly. They sent 2 techs out to my house which were very knowledgeable about their trade and they checked my entire unit out, inside and out. All of this was after I had another local company out 4 times and they had not fixed my a/c but had created additional problems with my unit. These techs, especially Richard, immediately knew that the other company had overcharged my system which was causing the high pressure switch to shut down the system and also create the high pitch squeal that we would hear when the system did occasionally start in our air handler in the attic. I hated that these techs had to follow such bad reps from another company but they corrected everything that this other company did wrong which was plenty. They had changed the setting of my thermostat time delay to 3 minutes which it should have remained at 5 minutes as well as they had disconnected my neutral line to my thermostat which these techs corrected all of this. Since I have 2 thermostats, they also had to do upstairs as well. After dealing with this other company for over 3 weeks or more, Wilmington Air Heating and Cooling Techs came to my house and repaired my unit in less 1 1/2 hrs. I also had them add some oil additive to my compressor to help with hard noisy shutdown on this type unit. My unit is now working great again and it is much more quieter on shut downs. All of this was at a fraction of the cost of what I paid this other company to fix nothing but to only add more problems than what I started with. Thanks Wilmington Air, Richard and his assistant.
